Behold the glorious photos from the Sony Ericsson W600i 1.3mp camera phone.

I decided to post a few photos so you can get an idea concerning the quality of the tiny camera phone, as opposed to the cheesy Kodak camera I found in the trash, really!  Both are about the same size, the Sony Ericsson 1280x1024 and Kodak 1184x896, which is just over 1mp.

Look at the photos below and read the text at the bottom.  All but two pics were taken with the Sony, the other two with the Kodak, which are labeled.  Click on the pics to see a full size sample.

This is the "solorized" option--worthless!

Kodak with flash, much much better in low light.

No surprise here but the Kodak is far superior in resolution, especially in low light, probably due to the better lens and sensor etc.  This camera would cost less than $50 today if it were available.  The Sony Ericsson really isn't too bad, it can be cleaned up in photoshop, and of course it's much handier because you tend to carry it all the time.

I like to carry a decent camera in the car so I can get some cool shots at the spur of the moment, or for an official record--like when some drunken drugged up fool rear-ends you at a stop light.  I'd recommend buying a real pocket camera and saving the camera phone for worthless shots to show and send to your friends.
