Reviewing lenses can be very expensive. Many
times I buy on eBay, and sell when I'm done with the lens, or no longer want it. Sometimes I buy a lens brand new, review
it, then end up not using it much, and sell it, that usually winds up costing me a lot of money. A good way to help
defray my costs, and help out the Sony/Minolta community is to donate to my site. There are several different options to making a donation. The easiest way is to send a small (or large) donation
through the PayPal/Credit card link below, which allows me to keep reviewing lenses and other related merchandise, and to
test and compare products and see how they perform, and whether or not they're worth the money (in my opinion). Another option is to send a donation equal to the amount of renting a lens for a week or ten days. That review
would be "sponsored" by you, thus helping the community. You
can also buy your camera goodies, (or other stuff) through the B&H Photo link above. When you buy using my link,
I get a small amount of the purchase price. A final way to donate is to
send me your lens and allow me to review it. It works like this; you simple contact me to see if I'm available to review
a lens at a particular time, (this is a side-line business, so I have to work around my job). I'll usually require two
weeks for a complete review and possible comparison. I'll also make sure your lens is listed below, or it is one I'd
be interested in reviewing. Next, you send it to my address with insurance etc. I'll contact you when I get it,
and let you know if everything is ok. When I'm done with the review, I'll send it back the same way you sent it to me,
same box, same company, with insurance etc. I pay return shipping.
